Organisation founded by 2022 WA Local Hero to feature in charity fundraiser
Short Back & Sidewalks, which was founded in 2015 by 2022 WA Local Hero, Craig Hollywood, to give free haircuts to the homeless, will go up against two fellow social purpose organisations in 10×10 Perth.
10×10 Perth is a fundraising event that gives attendees the opportunity to make a tax-deductible pledge of $100 in support of three organisations. This year’s selected charities are Dress for Success, Short Back & Sidewalks, and What Ability.
Upon arrival at the event, attendees receive two $50 notes and, after hearing each organisation pitch, decide which one their donation goes to.
The fundraiser will take place on Thursday 23 June at 6pm in The Locker Room, Optus Stadium, with catering provided by the in-house culinary team.
