High school students meet 2020 Australians of the Year

  • 1 October 2020

Auspire was proud to host 350 high school students this morning for another incredible Inspiring Australians Student Forum which featured a stellar line-up of the 2020 Australian of the Year recipients and finalists.

WA’s 4 Australians of the Year spoke to a capacity group of students at The Octagon, with more watching online, at Auspire’s Inspiring Australians Student Forum. It’s been a tough year for students and with a topic of Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Happy we hope they all take the presentations on board starting with these well deserved holidays. Thanks to schools for taking up the opportunity to attend the Forum and Campus Tours.

It was so exciting to see a theatre full of bright and enthusiastic faces in person, live on campus again. A huge shout-out to all the awesome teachers who jumped on the chance to get their students out of the classroom and who are passionate about building the next generation of changemakers.

This event will not be possible without the support of our Event Sponsors Perdaman, Chevron Australia who is the National Diversity and Inclusion Partner of the Australian of the Year Awards, and our host, The University of Western Australia. Their involvement in this event is a great encouragement to the future leaders of Australia.

We are all part of the story.
