Auspire announces inaugural participants of Multicultural Leadership Program 2022

  • 7 July 2022

Mentors, chairpersons and senior executives whose life stories began in many different parts of the world, make up the 16 inaugural participants of Auspire’s Multicultural Leadership Program 2022.

Participants work in a range of industries, including Education, Finance, IT and the Not-For-Profit sector. Besides their professional background, each one has been selected for their involvement within their community and demonstrating responsibility as active citizens.

The Multicultural Leadership Program will support the participants to further their leadership goals through a variety of networking opportunities, capacity-building forums, Aboriginal Cultural Awareness training, and other leadership development opportunities, via fully funded scholarships.

Participants have already been provided with the opportunity to meet and hear from the 2022 WA Australians of the Year, at an Inspiring Australians Breakfast on Friday 24th June that was also attended by individuals from the worlds of Corporate and Government (pictured).

“I am delighted to officially welcome these 16 aspiring and current leaders onto our Multicultural Leadership Program,” said Auspire CEO, Morgen Lewis. “Each of them has made a life for themselves in Australia, while proudly representing their culture and heritage. We at Auspire look forward to providing them with more opportunities to help them along their leadership journey.”

The Multicultural Leadership Program has been established in partnership with the Office of Multicultural Interests and developed in consultation with Auspire’s Multicultural Advisory Group.
