Western Australian businesses celebrated for diversity and inclusion initiatives in new awards

  • 24 July 2024

Businesses promoting diversity and inclusion within Western Australia have been recognised in the inaugural BHP and CCIWA Diversity and Inclusion Awards.

These Awards celebrate organisations and individuals who have gone above and beyond to create workplaces that foster collaboration, creativity and equity, and aim to inspire others to embark the journey towards building diverse and inclusive workplaces.

Winners across 11 award categories were announced at a Gala Dinner at Crown Perth on Friday 19 July.

“It’s wonderful to see the way WA businesses have embraced diversity and inclusion in the realisation that it’s not only the right thing to do but also great for their business,” said CCIWA CEO, Chris Rodwell. “The winners exemplify the very best of WA and show us that while there’s still work to do to improve diversity and inclusivity in our workplaces, we’re well on the journey. The response this year has been way beyond initial expectations.”

Auspire was honoured to attend and support the Awards with a number of Auspire Ambassadors, Multicultural Advisory Group Members and Multicultural Leadership Program Alumni selected to take on the task of judging.

We are delighted to work closely with CCIWA on capacity building initiatives to enhance individuals, organisations and communities.
