Australian Human Rights Commission releases new resources to minimise harm during The Voice to Parliament conversation

  • 14 August 2023

The Australian Human Rights Commission has produced an educational resource kit, designed to minimise harm and racism during conversation around the referendum and proposed Voice to Parliament.

Developed in collaboration with the Racism. It Stops With Me campaign, and IndigenousX, an impartial consultancy organisation – the kit includes nine documents that assist in understanding the referendum from a human rights perspective. The document titled ‘Minimising harm in conversations about the referendum’ in particular provides tips on ways to engage to ensure that conversations are approached in a factual, anti-racist way.

Access the resource kit here.

Auspire is proud to be an official partner of the Racism. It Stops With Me campaign, and to share these resources with our network.
