Auspire’s Multicultural Leadership Program returns for 2023 with 16 new participants
Sixteen aspiring Western Australian leaders, whose stories started all over the world, have been selected to take part in Auspire’s Multicultural Leadership Program 2023.
The participants work in a range of industries, including education, engineering, social work and community development. Each one is also actively involved in their community, through their work or in volunteer roles.
The program aims to support participants with their own leadership development goals through a series of workshops and round table discussions with Australian of the Year Alumni and others from within Auspire’s Inspiring Australian’s Network. Participant also have the opportunity to attend several high-profile events delivered by Auspire during the year, which provides opportunity to practice networking skills and broaden their leadership network.
Their first opportunity for the year was an event with the Governor of Western Australia, the Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister, and the 2023 WA Australians of the Year, at the 2023 Australia Day Launch at Government House in January.
The 2023 program follows the success of the inaugural program in 2022, which will culminate with a program completion celebration in March.
“I am delighted to welcome a new group of participants to this incredibly fulfilling program, after such a successful first year. These 16 individuals will have the opportunity to meet and hear from some of our most inspiring Alumni and Ambassadors, who provide insights and guidance on different leadership subjects supporting our participant on their own leadership journeys,” said Auspire CEO, Morgen Lewis.
The Multicultural Leadership Program is delivered in partnership with the Office of Multicultural Interests and developed in consultation with Auspire’s Multicultural Advisory Group.
