Auspire promotes their grass-roots program at The Education Show in Melbourne

  • 2 October 2019

2019 has been a busy year for the Aussie of the Month program and we are excited to announce that across Australia, there are now over 740 schools participating in the Program, reaching almost 260,000 students. This number was bolstered by our recent appearance at The Education Show hosted in Melbourne.

The Education Show is a professional development event attended by principals, school leaders, and educators.  The event showcases the latest learning and teaching resources, programs, support services, and technology for educators to implement within their classrooms to benefit schools. Never one to miss an opportunity to promote our program, the Auspire Team was on hand to boost awareness of our longstanding program and educate the educators on how to implement this free program within their own school.

We were also happily surprised by the number of visitors to our stand who shared their stories of when they were chosen as Aussie of the Month at their school, some going back to 1989.

Whilst the look and feel of the program has changed over the years, the message has remained the same – supporting the education curriculum in our primary schools by promoting life skills, community contribution, inclusion, harmony, and good civics and citizenship.
