Auspire is now an approved campaign partner – Racism. It Stops With Me.

  • 18 March 2021

A revitalised focus on racial equality arising from the #BlackLivesMatter protests and COVID-related racism has prompted people and organisations to ask, ‘how can we help make change? In response, Auspire is proudly supporting Racism. It Stops With Me, a campaign to stand against racism and act for positive change. We encourage our stakeholders to join more than 400 organisations to  become a supporter and pledge their commitment to anti-racism.

Being a part of this campaign is in line with Auspire’s vision for Australia to be the most socially and culturally inclusive society on the world, supported by our purpose to inspire active and engaged citizenship so that all Australians, no matter where your personal story begins can feel a part of our national identity. We deliver initiatives that foster inclusion and social cohesion, which embrace our nation’s rich and diverse multiculturalism.

Joining the program also coincides with Harmony Week, which celebrates our nation’s cultural diversity and runs parallel to the United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. This year’s Harmony Week 2021 messaging is “Everyone Belongs” which we are supporting with our Harmony Week activations including an online Lunch with Leaders session with Australia’s local Hero Rosemary Kariuki; a Mid-West Multicultural forum in Geraldton featuring Auspire Ambassador Jenny Lam and participation in the Harmony Week banner project.
