Jimmy Murphy founded the Town Team Movement to inspire and support people to be responsible for improving their communities. For his impact, Jimmy was named the 2023 WA Local Hero in the Australian of the Year Awards.

Janine Wood is co-founder of No Limits Perth, which supports vulnerable people in metropolitan Perth and its surrounds by offering food and essential items to those doing it tough. Janine was a Local Hero finalist in the 2023 WA Australian of the Year Awards.
