National Volunteer Week is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering.

The 2025 theme for National Volunteer Week is ‘Connecting Communities’, to celebrate the power that volunteering has in bringing people together.

From 19-25 May, communities and volunteer-led organisations across Western Australia will be hosting events and activities to celebrate National Volunteer Week. The 2025 WA Volunteer of the Year Awards’ winners will also be announced on 15 May.
