NAIDOC Week 2026

Since 1975, NAIDOC Week has been held every year to celebrate and elevate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices, culture and resilience.
The 2026 theme ‘Fifty Years of Deadly’ honours the five decades of NAIDOC Week – the people who built it, the stories that have been shared, the culture that has been celebrated, and the leadership that has inspired.
Communities, businesses, schools and local governments are all encouraged to acknowledge and celebrate NAIDOC Week.
