The UWA Public Policy Institute, The Next Economy, and Good Together invite you to a timely and thought-provoking discussion on WA’s economic future.

After decades of prosperity built on WA’s ‘mining state’ model, this event will offer critical reflection and discussion on economic diversification and the case for a wellbeing economy.

Explore how WA can decarbonise, de-risk, and diversify its economy in ways that go beyond greener mining and exports. What would diversification look like if the wellbeing of people and planet was our ultimate goal? And how can we move from decades of talk to meaningful, rapid action?

Featuring a keynote lecture from Katherine Trebeck, political economist and founder of the global Wellbeing Economy Alliance, this event will examine how a wellbeing economy lens can reshape WA’s diversification agenda — unlocking opportunities for fairness, sustainability, and resilience.

Registration is free but essential here.
