Harmony Week is an opportunity to celebrate Australia’s diversity and recognise the many benefits we gain from having culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Local Governments, workplaces and schools recognise Harmony Week with a variety of events and activities that celebrate our different cultures, backgrounds and experiences – with an aim to foster inclusion, respect and unity.

In Western Australia, Harmony Week is 15-21 March, with 21 March marking the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Elsewhere in Australia, Harmony Week is 16-22 March 2026.
