Deafblind West Australians (DBWA) and Senses WA are hosting a special morning of inspiring stories, tactile art and community connection to celebrate Deafblind Awareness Week.

On Tuesday 24 June, visit Perth City Farm to hear from people with lived experience of deafblindness as they share stories of self-advocacy, leadership, and achievements. There will also be the unveiling of a new tactile art collaboration to be featured alongside the permanent mosaic totem created by the Deafblind Community, and the launch of the new DBWA Leadership Program.

Activity is expected to take place from 9am – 11.30am.
