The City of South Perth will celebrate Australia Day with a Morning Ceremony and Great Aussie Breakfast.

All residents are invited to attend the special Australia Day flag raising ceremony and traditional Welcome to Country, along with the annual citizenship event hosted by television presenter, Haley Thompson.

It’s then time to celebrate individuals and organisations who have made a difference in the community, with the Community Citizen of the Year Awards.

The Great Aussie Breakfast is set to sizzle at 9.30am after the Citizenship Ceremony with the Rotary Club of Como providing a BBQ breakfast with a choice of fruit and a cup of tea, coffee, juice or water for the price of $6 each, which goes back into the local community.
