Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Workshop – National Reconciliation Week
28 May @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Auspire presents an engaging 4-hour Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Workshop to gain knowledge and awareness of the culture, history and experiences of Australia’s First Peoples during National Reconciliation Week – an important time of learning and discussion. Taking place within a culturally safe and inclusive framework – you will have the opportunity to have your questions answered.
Presented by Auspire – Australia Day Council WA and facilitated by a First Nations’ educator, this workshop explores the values and belief systems of Aboriginal people, and discusses the impacts of colonisation and how these still play out today.
This session is ideal for individuals and teams starting out their Aboriginal Cultural Competency journey, to facilitate real and lasting change through changed attitudes and behaviours at both a professional and personal level.
Includes morning tea. Participants receive a free training booklet, a certificate of participation and a resources list to help continue their journey.
Please note this workshop is authentic and as such may contain or allude to strong language that could be considered offensive to some participants.
