16 September 2025: Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Workshop

Auspire presents a highly engaging half-day Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Workshop in Perth, to gain an awareness of Aboriginal culture, history and experiences of Australia’s First Peoples.
Delivered by Auspire – Australia Day Council WA and facilitated by a First Nations’ Noongar leader, this workshop will explore the values and belief systems of Aboriginal people, the impacts of colonisation and how these still play out today.
You will have the opportunity to have your questions answered within a culturally safe and inclusive workshop framework.
This introductory session is ideal for individuals and teams starting out their Aboriginal Cultural Competency journey, and will help facilitate real and lasting change through changed attitudes and behaviours at both a professional and personal level.
Topics Include
- Understanding Aboriginal history
- Key cultural protocols, values and belief systems
- The impact of colonisation and dispossession
- Challenges and obstacles faced today
- Working together for a better future
Thanks to the support of our workshop partner the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA, we are able to offer discounts for not-for-profits and individuals, ensuring pricing remains affordable and accessible.
