DESCRIPTION:His Excellency Chris Dawson AC APM\, Governor of Western Australia\, presents The Governor’s Benefit Ball. \nThe Ball will raise funds for four organisations that are dedicated to strengthening and uplifting local communities – Stronger Families\, DV Assist\, Moort Boodjari Mia\, and St John WA. \nThe 2026 theme From Red Dirt to Red Carpet draws inspiration from the 1890s gold rush\, a transformative era that shaped Western Australia’s identity and funded many of its iconic public buildings\, including the Ballroom itself. \nThe occasion will unite some of Western Australia’s most iconic performing arts companies\, including WA Opera\, WA Ballet\, and the WA Jazz Project\, for guests to enjoy alongside a dinner showcasing locally sourced\, seasonal WA produce. \nThe Governor’s Benefit Ball will take place across three nights\, 6\, 7\, 8 August\, from 6.15pm – 10.30pm. \nBook your tickets on the Government House website.
